Our philosophy at St. Benedict Preschool adheres to the Catholic education mission: to respond to a mandate from Jesus Christ to teach all nations. All people within the school setting-faculty, parents, students and parishioners-share this mission.

The Catholic religion is the heart of our early childhood program. Our students are nurtured and inspired to live and model the works and actions of Jesus Christ.

Our program strives to provide a safe, loving, and educational environment for all. We teach using play, guided exploration, and hands-on activities appropriate to each child’s needs. We create opportunities for communication and social growth while developing skills in discovery and creativity, as well as fine, cognitive, and gross motor. We show and teach respect for the dignity and needs of the whole child- spiritual, physical, social, and emotional-in an effort to establish a positive and happy foundation of learning for continued success as they move beyond our school.
